Artifact: SUNY Cortland Activity Class Grades (from Degree Works)

Date: Present

Reflection:

This artifact shows my grades from fourteen different activity style classes.  All classes were completed at SUNY Cortland during my freshman, sophomore, and junior years.  The list of classes below is only a sample of activities I am competent in.  While at SUNY Cortland I also participated on the Club Badminton team for two semesters and was a teacher’s assistant for self-defense after completing my Educational Karate Program certification (EKP).  I also received my lifeguard certification in the Summer of 2014.

This artifact relates to standard 2 because it shows a variety of activities my competence in each. I enjoy learning about new activities and widening my knowledge daily. I find it a key part of my development as an educator to be able to demonstrate skills with proper examples in my classes. I find it crucial to first work on my skill; so that I may then help my students improve their own.
